Penstemon triflorus (Hill Country Penstemon)


This Texas perennial blooms in early spring, sending up 2-foot-tall spikes of large deep rose flowers, which attract hummingbirds. The foliage is a deep, glossy green. Plant in full or filtered shade, and well-drained soils. It reseeds readily.
