Mountain States Wholesale Nursery

Celebrating over 50 years and growing!

Mountain States Wholesale Nursery is a wholesale nursery specializing in drought tolerant plants.  We offer a wide variety of desert native trees, shrubs, ornamental grasses, accents, flowering perennials, groundcovers, and vines to the wholesale market.

We specialize in growing landscape plants that combine beauty and water economy. It is our ongoing mission to provide the highest quality plants, allowing the fulfillment of design concepts that reflect the true spirit and beauty of the desert. We cordially invite our wholesale customers to visit our nursery, and explore our large inventory of landscape plants collected from the deserts of the world.

We do not sell to the general public, but you can find our plants at retail nurseries and wholesale outlets listed on the resources tab of this website.

What’s New at MSWN

As of November 1st, 2022, our Glendale nursery was sold and MSWN is now operating solely at our (previously) secondary location in Cochise, Arizona. Fortunately, we have far more acreage in Cochise for expanded growth and future development. We have every intention to build back bigger and stronger than we ever were before.

Through the hard work and dedication of our incredible team, along with the support we receive from our amazing customers and nursery community, we will continue our mission to become the nursery we once were and more.  Here are a few of our most exciting future projects!

  • We are working to have another new propagation house completed
  • Additional potting house to accommodate our production needs
  • Continue to develop new fields to increase our production capacity
  • Constructing additional hoop-houses
  • Storage/canning machine facility
  • Fiber internet installation that spans over multiple acreage
  • Additional electrical and gas lines
