Zephyranthes candida (White Rain Lily)

Groundcover

Native to Central and South America, this little bulb forms a clump of narrow, glossy, dark green leaves. In the summer and early fall, it is covered with waxy white flowers. The foliage can burn back in the summer, but plants recover quickly in the fall. It tolerates a wide range of soils, exposures, and irrigation schedules. Plant in part shade in the low deserts.
