Scutellaria suffrutescens (Pink Skullcap)

Groundcover

This compact plant generally grows to about 8” tall by 1-2’wide. Waves of pink flowers that look like little snapdragons grace this plant from spring through fall. In low deserts this plant prefers some afternoon shade, but does great in full sun at higher elevations. In colder areas it might need a good hard pruning in the spring to remove frost-damaged foliage.
