Texas Pistache is a tough and attractive small tree or large shrub native to south Texas and into Mexico. It will grow to about 15-20 feet tall and wide, but can get larger with deep water and good soil. This tree will be evergreen in the low desert, but can go deciduous in areas with more cold. Dark green foliage has a nice red tinge as new leaves emerge in the spring. USDA Zone 8.
