'Blue Jean Baby' is a shorter, fuller, compact variety of Russian Sage. Grows to 2-3 feet tall and wide with lavender blue flowers displayed in smokey purple calyxes that bloom from mid-summer all the way into fall. Provides late season pollen for bees and butterflies. Can be cut to make dried flower arrangements. Trim back woody stems in spring after new leaves appear. 'Baby Blue Jean' is the perfect perennial for hot, dry climates and prefers average to dry, well-drained soil. Hardy to -30° and resistant to deer and rabbits.
