This durable, semi-deciduous groundcover has bright green, fine-textured, aromatic foliage. Small yellow flower spikes carpet Sierra Gold® in the spring and fall. Due to its compact size and heat tolerance this plant is a good choice for parking lot planters and street medians. Plant in full sun and well-drained soil. It is native to Mexico. It is reportedly rabbit resistant.
