Agave murpheyi ‘Rodney’ (Varigated Murphy’s Agave)

Accent/Succulent

This variegated selection of Murphy's agave was selected by the late Rodney Engard, a noted Arizona plantsman. The growth habit and size are identical to the regular species. Native to central Arizona and northern Mexico at elevations from 1500 to 3000 feet, this plant tolerates extreme heat and full sun with minimal supplemental irrigation. The mother plant will die after flowering, but offsets can keep the colony growing.
