Agave multifilifera (Chahuiqui)

Accent/Succulent

This agave forms a dense rosette of narrow leaves lined with prominent white filaments. Older plants can form a modest trunk. This native of the Mexican states of Chihuahua, Durango and Sinaloa occurs at elevations from 4500- 6500 feet. The tall flower spike bears light green flowers with pink margins. Plants in low deserts prefer some shade and supplemental irrigation.
