Soaptree Yucca

This treelike yucca grows in southeastern Arizona, New Mexico, west Texas, Mexico. A spherical head of narrow, flexible leaves crowns each branch. The leaves measure from 1 to 3 feet long, with white margins and white marginal fibers. The showy flower spikes can reach 15 feet, producing masses of waxy white flowers in the late spring. Plant in full sun and well-drained soil.
